"POSIDONIA"

The green grass found on the seabed, especially in the Mediterranean Sea, is almost always Posidonia oceanica, often called "Neptune Grass." It is not an algae: unlike algae, Posidonia is a true marine plant with roots, a stem, and ribbon-like leaves that can reach a meter in length.

It is essential to the ecosystem by producing large amounts of oxygen, protecting coastlines from erosion, and its presence is an excellent indicator of clean water and the health of the marine environment. 

It was the inspiration for our project for the collection line dedicated to the sea and its hidden treasures.

L'erba verde che si trova sul fondo del mare, specialmente nel Mar Mediterraneo, è quasi sempre la Posidonia oceanica, spesso chiamata "Erba di Nettuno". Non è un'alga: a differenza delle alghe, la Posidonia è una vera e propria pianta marina dotata di radici, fusto e foglie nastriformi che possono raggiungere il metro di lunghezza.

E’ fondamentale per l'ecosistema producendo elevate quantità di ossigeno, protegge le coste dell’erosione, sa sua presenza è un ottimo indicatore di acqua pulita e di buona salute dell'ambiente marino. 

È stata l'ispirazione per il nostro progetto per la linea dedicata al mare e ai suoi tesori nascosti.

The Designer

I am passionate about the world of Art since the childhood, which gradually involved me and the artistic passion burned within me more and more I approached to understand its secrets and mysteries, as long as it has not become an integral part of my life.

I express this feeling through ballet, painting and poetry. I was about 4 years old when I started with my very first drawings. My initial "style" was black and white, pencil or charcoal on plain paper and then, later on, as I grew up, I moved onto canvas. So I took the courage to use colors too - pastels and for about 20 years now, I've been using acrylic paint and my style has become modern abstract. 

I often experiment and create, inventing personalized techniques such as painting with sugar, for example, which requires a specific handle to be able to fix it on the canvas.

I am passionate about painting and also about product design. I am also a Product and Lighting Designer specialized in bringing together a sensitive and creative passion to light, with the ability to create quickly innovated individual superb designs that are fully functional and practical. I am interested in create design that makes a difference, always remaining extremely flexible to the needs of individuals and communities on a large scale in an international and global aspect. I find inspiration from all sources in the full awareness that what I create can even change a person's inner experience for the better and I put all my love into the process of creation. People will remember how you make them feel. And I love make people feel special, important. 

I have participated and continue to participate in many international competitions where I am often awarded for my artistic works, which are highly appreciated by critics.
