Ariadne’s Thread

A glass bead inspired by the story of Ariadne, formed as a ball of deep red glass textured to resemble wound thread. The silver core runs through the bead, engraved on opposing sides with the words “the way through ...” on one side, "... and back" on the other - reflecting the dual promise of guidance and return.

The bead honours unseen acts of care and intelligence — the quiet preparation that makes courage possible — and reminds us that even in the darkest places, there is a path forward, and a way home.
