Still protected

Chelsea, United Kingdom

A sterling silver bead formed as a curled pangolin, its body wrapped protectively around the core. Pangolins curl not to vanish, but to survive — shielding what is most vulnerable at their centre.

One of the most endangered mammals in the world, the pangolin becomes a symbol of quiet resilience: of holding oneself together in the face of harm, of protection without aggression, of survival without spectacle.

This bead honours the unseen strength in softness, and reminds us that what is gentle is not weak — and what is protected still matters.
