Blossoms of Harmony

For this competition, I designed a pink-purple glass bead adorned with golden koi and silver lotus motifs. I chose to combine different materials rather than using just one because I wanted the piece to reflect how layered and multifaceted we are as people.
The golden koi represent perseverance and strength. Koi are known for swimming upstream, symbolizing resilience and the courage to keep going even when you feel out of place. The silver lotuses represent growth and renewal — blooming beautifully despite rising from muddy waters. Together, they tell a story of overcoming, evolving, and finding harmony within yourself.
The pink-purple glass bead reflects creativity, sensitivity, and imagination — qualities that have shaped both my art and my identity.
This design is very personal to me. It represents the journey of not always feeling like you belong, but realizing that being different, layered, and versatile is something powerful and beautiful.

From an early age, art has been my truest form of expression. Being naturally more reserved, I have always found comfort and clarity in creating — whether through drawing, designing, or crafting. Over the past few years, my passion has evolved into a deep love for clothing and jewelry design, particularly pieces that are detailed, layered, and rich in meaning.
